maybe it's just me but the whole thing sounded like Peter Molyneux talking about how life-like the NPC's in fable 2 would be, or how much everyone would just instantly love their dog. though this guy has given me a craving for some lettuce...
Agreed, loving it so far. I'm really digging the character development, they somehow feel more real to me. I am loving the interaction with other NPCs during the cutscenes. And yeah, the immaturity problem is an old one, Halo 3 for one suffered from the same nuisance.
Spoon... granted the game itself suffers from loading times and "must level up to continue" syndrome, Ys: The Ark of Napishtim for the psp did just that. The main character, enemies, and npc's were all sprites, the bosses and environments were all 3d... blended together beautifully.
I'm an independent artist working on a Unity project and I need to hire a 3d modeler and animator to create a series of characters with walking animations for Unity 2020. These are NPC that will be walking about an urban environment. Attached are three 2D sketches for the characters. Here's a link to a third character…
https://vimeo.com/389656309 Hey this is a simple WIP uppercut animation on loop that I'm planning to have in my 2020 portfolio so I would appreciate any critiques that will help make this as perfect as possible. This is supposed to be a quick live action animation. Like NPC animation. Syncsketch…
Holy shit, for the first time in my life I actually felt guilty seeing him kill that police officer. Before this every "henchman" npc would have really stupid dialog that made you hate them, but these guys really sound like ordinary people.
I loved it up until the last patch, now couldn't see any enemy targets.. Could still see NPC but anything I had to fight was invisible, could only see their name. Probably won't get it at launch, since I don't know if it'll be fixed.
I watched it awhile back, it looks great except player/npc animations which are not blending with each other too well, looks like there's no IK even (the guy slides down the stairs :S). I guess after gtaiv you cant exactly get back to playboy.
