I'm finding this thread informative and also loving the progress. It seems that we're have a good wave of warcraft fanarts in this forum. Where is your 3D portfolio, if you don't mind me asking? I saw you pixelart, which is great, but I'd like to see more of your 3D as well.

Usually w/e you find an interest in i guess, it could be anything. Either i come up with an original concept, or usually just fanart of something i enjoy(Characters/Creatures mostly). Film/tv(usually a creature or an actor/actress) , animation, games, nature etc and everything else.

People always say that companies need "to show they are defending their IPs", and I'm curious about what exactly this means. Can't a company show they are defending their IPs by shooting down projects attempting to make money on their designs, or people selling fanart, as opposed to shutting down these fan passion projects…

So i guess i'll be starting this off with some WIP shots of two older projects i have revived now. One is a handpainted fanart piece of Diana from League of Legends, imagining a skin of the "arclight" line for her. It's far from done, but i'm having a blast right now :D

Thats a lot of polygons dude. Riots poly count limit of a normal character is 7k, max 12k with weapons and summons included. If your making a game model then reduce the poly count to 7-8k. Your highpoly is awesome, you'll get good details on your bake anyway. Ignore this if your making a fanart.
i always thought that orcs just dyed the roots of their facial hair and left the rest brown. Some ancient custom or something.
