Very useful already. but some wonky stuff for ideal topology. For this to subdivide nicely you'd want the first interior edge to follow the border so you don't get "poles" at the border (bottom left has this issue). I like everything about Surface Studio except the outdated GPU, and no Thunderbolt. Also I don't trust the Surface Pen.. This computer might be good for 2D artists but not for 3D artists. That asus looks good, and the 4700HQ is a very, very fast cpu. I would bump it up to 16gb and throw an SSD in there though. Only issue I would have with that Asus is it is 6lbs (MBP 15 is 4.5, 13 is 3.5) so if weight is an issue maybe something to consider. Also if you end up paying a few hundred extra for ram and SSD,…
