Ah thank you, i didn't see that on the wiki. What do you think about the latest GMH release? Does it use the same techniques? it looks about so. Except easier. http://www.polycount.com/2015/05/13/gmh-2-6/#more-16502
First clue you weren't an actual journalist but a troll - using a message board as research. Second clue - Poorly written post after poorly written post presented with the tact of a 13 year old,LOL! Third clue - You think Quake 4 is a great game.
I tested what I think you mean by going to the direct image of this picture http://farazmobin.com/comiccon/13.jpg (posted in this thread) and then taking a screenshot of the enlarged image in the thread and flipping between them in photoshop. I couldn't see a difference if that's what you meant?
UPDATE ( 3/13/06 ) Worked mostly on my Unreal Level today, but also got a bunch of Neza stuff done too. That's right kids... no life. * Unwrapped the body. * Positioned the legs in his idle pose. Mirrored them over. Next step is texturing! Yaayyyyy! ^^
A fanart of Howl's Moving Castle. A personal work I did during my free time in the office. Got to study a lot of things like lighting and shaders in UE4. (Sorry, Calcifer was rushed 😭)! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/0XGWOE Softwares: Modo 13, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, UE4
Probably because big companies want to stick to their IP. Call of Duty 9 and Halo 13 and Fifa 2084, and what not. Meanwhile, indie groups do not have the capability to make AAA games, nor do they want to make the same stupid games guys in suits tell them to.
Hang on... I just checked the DT website and there's a crapload of hard-surface modelling content! http://www.digitaltutors.com/training/maya/modeling-tutorials Look at that transforming robot thingamajigger and the weapon modelling tut just released. 13 hours that one, might go through that one meself...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66IGMnPgEW0 Showcase video of my simple technique. Sorry the production values are a bit shit and it's a bit long winded, but hopefully interesting anyway. Discussion @ http://polycount.com/discussion/175191/technique-showcase-unreal-4-13-mesh-normal-map-decals/
Oh my god, I Lost James Pond 2 in my house when I was 13-14, looked for it forever and never found it again, still think about it all the time and where it went! still have my street fighter 2 and original sega though.
