Hi guys Im looking for a Scifi hardsurface 3d modeler for my own project, as this is a long term freelancing I would like to have the candidate working close with me. Please link me your portfolio and DM me your experience Cheers Eric
the blood is putting me off. I mean, THe gun looks so scifi and clean that you shouldn't have blood in there, because it's breaking the mood of it :D Maybe change the color to brown, and tone it down so it read more like dirt?
Also this seems like a good place to ask, when applying for an environment artist job is it better if my portfolio is filled with the same kind of art (scifi or fantasy or lowpoly etc) or is it better to have a variety of images from different styles of environment?
hookay more stuffs, high poly model of some scifi turret, concept by artist kaZZanTIP http://cghub.com/images/view/22406/ here's the model, still WIP have still have the rails and the actual guns to do Uploaded with ImageShack.us
1. Fantasy (with a couple exceptions) 2. SciFi (again, with a couple exceptions) 3. Epics 4. Anime (mainly because they almost always involve 1-3, but also because the animation usually sucks) 5. Sappy romance novels/films
I really like the general shape of the train. It's still recognizable as a train, but with a scifi vibe. Also the slight changes you made (it seems you made the front part longer then in the concept) pushes it into the right direction. Looking forward on how this will turn out in the end.
Alright, i've just added a new character, new posed renders of other characters and some more props to my portfolio site, i also took out the 2d section. www.artofgiles.weebly.com I was thinking of removing the scifi scout and the explorer as they are... bad. Verdicts?
Nice job! I can confidently say this is the best game-rez power tool I've ever seen! And ironically, way more interesting than another scifi crate haha. Nice job man. (didn't quote pix to save some space.)
Trying to kep up with my sketch a day promise to myself. It's a real quick one for a SciFi soldier that's been rolling around my head. It reminds me of the Halo Marine too much in this state.Imight take this onhe a bit further and actually finish it later.
A thanks guys - but when i put the sun to 0, nothing happens with the walls, does this include the fog too ? The tip with the AbientColor is good, but isnt it a good possibility to give the scene a ground lightning ? How would you do it otherwise, for a Scifi Hallway for example ?
