I think you are missing a lot of the colors and contrast from the concept in the scene at the moment. The roof has oranges and reds in it, the ground has browns and yellows, the siding is a lot brighter with some yellows in it. Looks quite realistic compared to online photos of the fish. There seems to be lot of color variation from fish to fish though, some being green, redish-brown, gray or just as dark brown as yours. No undo! arrrrrghhhhh! A lot of the theory about light and colour is the same as painting on the computer. However paint works on an subtractive colour system using CMY colour space. This means if you add all your colours together you'll get a dark brown and not white like a computer monitor. You get a brown and not black… -

Also the any flate color on organics is going to look a little cartoony, you should try to break up your browns and greens by overlaying some other hues into the texture (yellows and reds).
