Needed : *.wal batch converter or photoshop plugin
I am looking for means of converting all Quake-2 *.wal textures into either bmp, jpg or tga (prefably). Wally crashes on batch conversions and GOOGLE reveals only dead download links to wal2bmp. -
Photoshop Texture Painting Problem
Hey guys, I am using the PS CS5 Extended 3d tools to paint textures. Now when overlaying a texture onto my mesh, it overlays transparent. Now my seams do overlap, each side of each wall is on top of each other. But I don't see how that should cause a problem. The mesh is triangulated... And painting does the same thing.… -
Photoshop: 16 bit color selecting
If you convert an RGB image to 16 bit and use the eyedropper tool, the info panel still shows the colors as 8-bit, 0 to 255. Any way to get it to show the correct 16-bit value range? I've tried looking at the info panel preferences and didn't see anything useful. -
Photoshop CC - shape tool > color in layer tab ???
I used to work on CS5, but now i'm a bit lost with shape layers : Is there a way to show "colors" for the shape in the layer, like before ? -
Weird photoshop problem.
Normally, when using the brush tool, you hold alt to sample a color. For some reason, when I do that, it samples to the background color slot, rather than foreground. As you can imagine, it's quite a hassle to have to hit X to switch the fore/background colors every time I sample something. It just started doing this… -
Diffuse to Albedo in Photoshop

I don't believe this is possible at all, although Photoshop CS5's bristle brushes have that feature. They're quite nice brushes too, as it happens. Bit on the laggy side at times, but if your computer can handle it they're lovely. -

Did you actually try a test? I think Photoshop is smart enough to recognise the difference when saving. Try it out on a test folder with two files. You could also try XNview, it has a great batch processor. -
Photoshop for game environment artists.
I've been looking up a lot of tuts on creating game ready assets. I very rarely found anyone use PS that often(othen than adding text, logos, etc. to props). Photoshop CS6 color picker problem
My problem is that my color-picker is'nt accurate. It sort of sample all the colors within a certain area. I want the picker to take the color from the pixel its on. As you can see on the image. ^ This problem happen a couple of days ago, and i havent been able to solve the problem yet. Please help!
