Wow, that's a damn upgrade for sure :) Agree with Florence, the head shape is a bit whacky! For the butt I think a bit of smoothing might really make it look more natural. I don't know what GML is, is there a program you can view the files? Anyway, the main problem is that you are getting the vertex color incorrectly.
