The dirty version looks really cool, like a well polished piece of concept art, and the ott lens flare works well too. I actually have alot of fun with the presentation/compositing side of a project. Its not amazingly useful, but after putting all that hardwork into creating a character, its good to be able to relax and…
Yeeesh, that's horrible. This kind of thing tends to happen only if there's a lost connection between Photoshop and SUITE. I would recommend running PS as admin once, close it, and then open SUITE and try adjusting some minor stuff to see if it sticks on saving. If that fails, let me know what version of SUITE and…
I think your T-rex is quite good, you show a very good control of the technique, it is evident you've studyed the T-rex anatomy but you didn't managed to control the shape perfectly especially in the front view anyway the overall result is fine. ps: If you want, you can give me feedback on my dinosaur too!…
they ARE low polys, and they were made with 3ds. they are all under 600 tris, so i can use them as base for the in-game model. What you are seeing are screenshots from 3ds, with the clay viewport type, and then a quick crop in PS. i just wanted to give the concept some 3d shape. haven`t even started the sculpting process.…
My fav is the 2nd. you might want to consider the batmans character a little more. Even though he is the "Dark Knight" (speaks for #1 and #2) he acts very much like an assassin (#5) but in the comics he is also depicted as a detective. think about how you could put that in maybe? ps. no matter what PLEASE dont do #4 or #5.…
You are still getting some smoothing errors and workaround fix is not so great because you will have issues with other high-res bakes. Try exporting high-poly as .obj next time. And details like these are best made in Photoshop, very quick. edit:quickly traced the interior and applied glow filter and Xnormal height to…
Hi guys. quick update. Did some more assets. I know these are rough in terms of modeling. Just not refined the shape yet. Also i think i went alittle overboard with the dirt, maybe someone can help me out with this. Thanks in advance. Love you all :) PS i had more images, but my computer crashed as i was saving them. BAHH!
a friend of mine had a lot of issues with getting pressure sensitivity to work, then PS didn't really run cool on it, pressure was lost all the time, windows8 was something HE (i only tested it shortly, and use mine only for zbrush and surfing) really didn't like. Also the whole artdock didn't really work on windows 8…
Sketchfab is rendering engine, UE 4 is game engine. They have different light setup etc. You can tone the light little bit down, maybe spec is little bright. Or just try "Levels" in PS on albedo. Isaw your sketchfab model, and still dont see the point of rely on skethfab viewer :D If you od things in UE 4, check them in UE…
My answer to that would be........in 3D. :) Or if you're limited to Max you could texture in Photoshop as normal and paint out the seams in Max's(hopelessly neglected) Viewport Canvas. Or you could use the Render to Surface tools to create a seamless, blended base texture, and go from there. I believe 3DMotive.com have an…
