@Joopson I'm afraid to say I need a video, to see how and why it fails in real time, or else I don't know what's the problem, you have a 32-bit OS ? PM me with more details when it won't bother you please
You shouldn't need to account for a lot of extra space for the padding. It stops rendering padding when it runs into something else. You can see in this example of a cube where I rendered an AO map with 32 pixels of padding, the padding does not encroach into important areas.
I've tried every setting from 1 to 32, but it's still not doing it correctly. Could be the mesh that's casting the shadow yeah, but I can't see what might be wrong with it. Far as I know there aren't any n-gons, open edges or overlapping/inverted faces
Well the plugin in particular is supergrass. I pretty sure I dloaded the 32 bit because there wasnt a 64 bit option and thats what I run. In any case I get htis popup about s-grass everytime I open max.
I had this driver drop when i was on vista 32 a while ago, it was the tablet pc thing integrated that kicked the pen driver. I never got it to work properly. I hope you find an answer mine was to switch back to xp (and now to seven).
Hi all, I've ran into a problem when working with the low poly version of this cone. I've applied smoothing group value of 32 to the entire upper part of the cone, yet there are seems between the edges still. Here's a render of the high poly version for your time.
Allright!, some pictures from this week brussels game festival: And yeah! another 3d print of the model! This is a high quality print in a propre scale (around 32 mm hight) with all the details I wanted. Thx modelium3d.com for the great work!
Had a look at your blend file and I think that's what it was. I don't see those 'stains' in my current development version of TexTools as it now bakes everything as 32 bit float values. next version will be out this weekend or today.
u may need to incress the light map res for bsp's default is 32.. but the lower the number the high res the map is try 4 if u still dont like it try 1. that could fix your issue this will incress the baking time
Lets get this party started with something cool. in preparation for working at triumph I made a "unit" I'm not quite there yet with the style, but hey, I'm sure I'l learn when I'm making stuff. the model was made in 32-36 hours.
