Re: UV Layout - Overlapping vs Wasted space
If it's just a tileable texture, you can have them all overlapping, the scale of the uv islands can be adjusted to be outside of the 1,1 square. You can make the islands as big as you want and the uv's overlap as much as you want. -

By room = 192, do you mean ceiling height? And so for uu, I set my max units to Generic Units? Therefore I can create a box that is 96 units tall in max, and that should be the height of my character? -

To be perfectly honest; NOTHING says 'ignore the noobs that need help' more than this. Their pics become small and overlooked. Your eyes go straight to the large images. It's simple design 101. This will only encourage more 'OMG AWESOME' posts. -

My car was broken into on monday of last week. They took my sweater and left my ipod in the car (which was at the bottom of my center console. It cost me 190 dollars to fix. the ghuy came to my workplace and fixed it on the spot. -

Flashing one's dvd-drives CAN be a very bad idea, unless you've got 101% control of the situation... That said, I flashed mine some 5 months ago to accomodate my purchase of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie! -

I'll be there on the weekend, If you want to do a PC meet up, I'm down! I signed up for the LAN party, but I'm no #1901 on the waiting list. Maybe I'll have my own LAN in the lobby on wireless :D
