I've got a G-13 right next to my drawing tablet, so I can use buttons instead having to reach up and down the tablet. Other than that, I always found that using the drawing tablet was more natural than using a mouse.
TBH, 13-15k is super low for a character these days for portfolio work IMO. As long as you are helping the silhouette in a positive way, its normally worth the extra tri's. Some in-game characters these days running on the new consoles and top spec PC's are in the 90k range.
Watch Dogs will run at 900p on PS4, 729p on Xbox One, and 30 frames per second on both systems http://www.joystiq.com/2014/05/13/ubisoft-reveals-900p-resolution-for-watch-dogs-on-ps4-no-for/ not that i'm bothered. I'll be soaking up the PC version
Looks alright, I did use a Lenovo (not the same model) for a while, it's build quality was surprisingly good and performance was decent - it was the Yoga 13 (top spec.) was a bit out of your price range at the time, but that was a year or more ago so it might have dropped since
Hi all, I added a little video walkthrough of the scene, with some statistics showing if you want a more technical look: [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRByJQBkxUA"]udk 2012 12 13 00 35 30 65 - YouTube[/ame] Thanks!
Honestly, I have no idea, but I'd guess it's not that big a deal. Teaching 13-year olds a three week course on game development is going to be extremely superficial at best; doing this won't hurt your resume, but I don't think it'll help that much either.
I loved FF12 and spent at least 50 hours just running around leveling up because the combat was so fun. I haven't been very interested in 13 though. Maybe because it seems like I'll have grandchildren before I play it.
Thanks lotet! Thank you Shanthosa, I respect you in return!:) I'm done with the low res and I generated the normal and AO. With the hair/eyes/teeth I'm just above 13 000 tris. With the previous sword and shield I should be at 14 000 tris.

yeah there are some similarities.. but srsly? the sims thing looks like a nother 13 in a dozen cashin kartgame, just some tracks with silly powerups, whereas ZG has some really original game modes. add on top more customizability and better graphics, and bye EA
