With 3dsMax I drew a line that turns (I used the Line tool). The only problem is that the final shape is not straight anymore. How can I do it? The angle of the shape is turned. How to solve this problem? Thank you. I would like to do this shape.
Thanks a lot. The radar part also has sloped sides that are difficult to create with a flat straight model. I used booleans to create the slopes on my attempt, but it doesn't seem like it would work well in your example. What do you suggest?
how do i fix this kind of seam? when i do something like this shape ( cylinder rectengle intersection? or something with cylinder ) sometimes i make them separate objects but sometimes it doesn't work i tried bevel and insert edge loops
disanski - try pulling the triangle down one more loop? you can most likely hide it on the side of the model where it is flat. to post in image inside a thread use [ img ] image url here [ /img ] with no spaces between [ ] and img. hope this helps!
Oh yeah, isoline control. Does modo have it ? Looks like on videos that you still have to go back to low poly to edit. Are you 3point guys still enthusiastic about this soft ? I don't see many people around using it.
I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical about that community at first, it seemed like one of those shitty and lame community that just wanted your moneyz. Cgtuts+ has grown a lot in the last few months, with lot's of great tuts. Totally recomended.
Maybe I am taking the concept to literally, but I kinda like the way it looks now and I am planning to keep the edge clean so I don't think the polygon flow will matter since I wont add any detail on that curve.

Kinda, thats what I have but my issue is I want it to be sharp at the corner, I'm making this I just realized its a much harder shape, since it was a ref I found after I started, But would like to still figure it out.
