Picture on top. He is using Dirt node and he plugs curvature smooth and ambient occlusion into it. When you hover over inputs of dirt node, it shows you what you need to plug in, its not another AO node. For second picture you need to setup FX-map, so go to edit and set it as shown in 8:57 in second video.
Yeah it's the busch gardens in tampa, we bought the fun pass all year for $57 we go on off days check out the any-mules.. and ride a ride or two few times a year we only live about 20 minutes from their so it's quick and easy when we are bored. It would definitely suck as a theme park if you were visiting though..
