You can't use Gamma Correction with RT shaders in Max without them breaking a bunch of stuff, including your normal maps. And you're not meant to, just post it in Photoshop.
So, you want to UV unwrap the model and animate it with an armature? Did the import include the vertex animations? If so, they are probably listed in the shape keys section. Just delete them.
The younger generation tend to try and fit in and generally be more accepting of humans. Typical measures include nose pinning ... Blocking in a young female, very wip, having lots of fun with these! :)

The materials need to be worked on some more. Everything is reading as the exact same material with the same roughness (including the water). What do some of your flat textures look like?
I browsed most of the TF2 Contest entry's and there is A LOT of great work including the stuff posted here, i think its going to be a very close call between everyone.
Atten includes the shadow value premultiplied in. You have to pick out the code that does the attenuation from the code that does the shadows before they get multiplied together. The code's in AutoLight.cginc...
