I got the 150 pass; the one that gets you into everything except any master classes. They now have a paypal pay later feature with (i think, don't quote me), but the first 6 months there is no interest. I still haven't paid a penny for my ticket yet. I really hope people see this and post; I remember someone made a thread…

I think @m4dcow is right, I think it's a combination of how your model is smoothed and the way you baked your normal map. It looks like your model is all hard edges/separate smoothing groups, but you've failed to break your UVs at those edges, which is giving you weird results at the corners. The areas I've circled in red…
Wow you guys responded alot faster then I expected :D Thanks! I forgot to mention that I was using maya and the language was python, I've come up with this long method: cmds.xform('pCube6',cp=True) test = cmds.spaceLocator() cmds.pointConstraint('pCube6',test) cmds.orientConstraint('pCube6',test)…
@ m4dcow: Ahh, i figured as much but was not quite sure that that would actually have an affect to the AO. Tahnks for pointing it out. I will put the model back into place and then re-bake... i was dumb enough to not set a Time Line so i cant go back to how it was before Exploding :P bad habits i guess. @ GeeDave:…
Thank you m4dcow for your example. I tried to do it same way basically with only difference I wanted clean anti-aliased mask to separate properly small details with not so high depth difference. That levels approach doesn't do it very well imo. Same in Photoshop ( it can do it non destructively too with a huge layer stack)…
Phew - that was quick! Hot off the press are the results from the judges at Havok on their Top 9 entries to the MINI-GOLF contest! For those who don't know, the MINI-GOLF! contest hosted by Polycount saw artists creating mini-golf holes, to be used in Havok's brand spanking new game engine, Project Anarchy™. When the…
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I am pretty aware that the way it looks in UDK right now is fairly rough and can use a lot of work. @AlexCat: I've still got a ways to go for this test, so I'm by no means done at this point. @stoofoo: You bring up a good point. My intention of rendering my textures in Marmoset was merely…
m4dcow: Hehe, true. Of course, you would still need to use common sense and just like you say it would work best for assets that create a larger structure. I feel that something like this would be great for merging small deco assets though. ambershee: Yeah, with all these features aimed at Mobile I wouldn't be surprised if…
So I shut my tab, with all my responses. Wow, I feel like an idiot. I will write it up again, let me first just post the work. @Everyone; Thank you! I am deeply touched! (don't be perverted) :) Orangeknight: Thanks! I have now changed the way I am doing this. Greatly appreciated! Seirei: Thank you!! Btw, your scene is…
