While we wait on Bird to post, here is a page from my latest sketchbook: And this was a skeletal study done at a Boston Sketch Group about a month or so ago: - BoBo
Some stuff I sketched while waiting for my girlfiends car to get fixed. The one with the building is a study of some Alan Lee work from "The Art of Return of the King"
wow lots of cool crazy stuff going on here... is that her steering wheel she is holding rawkstar? here's a goofy sketch i did and then fixed up and colored in photoshop
Your day dreams perhaps? I had a look at some of your drawings on your site and what I want to know is: Did the digital silhouette or the sketch come first?
Some 'for fun' stuff with Adam deGrandis.. based off of his viewport grabs.. Was working on getting color sketches out faster than I normally do.. There is very much to learn yet..
First try at a sketch with the drawing tablet, just came today and was trying to get a feel for it. Also being my first, I can look back on these and see how I've changed and improved.
Bought a scanner last night and revived a really old sketch. Yeah yeah the pose is impossible, I know. This is also the first painting I sat down with and really focused on in a while. Yay me.
I haven't joined the fun since page 2. During some downtime at work. About an hour. Last night while sketching with some friends. About 2 hours, plus some photoshop coloring.
So, I got around to using a proper sketch book. I feel pretty lame posting my crap in this thread full of awesomeness. I feel like I'm tainting it. Yes, I said taint.
That Sandor sketch rocks Josh! That's really close to how I always pictured him, maybe just a little bit fatter though. Should do one of Gregor... a huge fucker on a pony. FOR TEH WIN! -caseyjones
