another problem I have seen in the business is people actually think Python is better than .bat... .bat is waaaay more useful than long-winded python. Proved that one in VFX when integrating Unreal Engine 4 at Pixomondo.

got the toon shader done and working with all the lighting. I have strategy and workflow for this game's look. Basically I have created atoon shder with all the controls I need but has no color. it's about simple order of operation and in plain sight. I may goto c++ eventually but Spinney and his team of engineers really made an alternative to c++. If you are not using bp to make the software you are likely making big mistake in very small ways.
got it working on the Ally and all hardware for that matter. It connects and both systems run very fast. Next is gut the project, clean it a bit. I will eventually get it package to Android but it's not really that important to do right now because the art is cell shading.
All packaged, no errors and few warnings that are resolved by cleaning up the project file. I can likely bring the project package shipping version down under 5 min 10 min. Time to run the final real world test.....across different machines.
I may need to make the graphics simple and stress complete gameplay more. I'm not sure I alone can make sense of the graphics I want. It will be easier to add advanced graphics later but I need a simpler 3d graphics answer.
I still say that GOW biggest problem is they always making something out of Marcus.....They should go a twisted metal black Heavy Metal direction in GOW story telling. Standard Unreal Project opens on AMD. It's a bug in my project file. Simple answer that kills 2 birds with one stone.....gut the project file I have move the keeper stuff code over to a clean project file. Project will open on AMD as well and project file is then super clean.
