Just quickly blocked out a hand - I'm thinking the fingers look a little too short despite following the reference. Still debating whether to lengthen or shorten them. Then I'll work on tertiary details, paint, re-topo and export to rig in Maya. I'm going to make a quick finger-tapping animation.

Quick free hand project I did overnight that took heavy inspiration from old PS2 and PS1 horror games. I focused on trying to fit as much detail into the low res texture in the time I gave myself. more images and 3D viewer on my artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/o8Goq
Hey people, got inspired by my little pug Polly <3 to do a character, just messing around with the proxies/blockout currently deciding on the final balance and shapes. Going to go for a hand painted chunky vibe I think, but I'll see how it progresses. Any ideas, suggestions or link to inspiration welcomed :)
Working on the Zbrush sculpt for a hand-painted guy. Sci-fi investigator! I wanted to exaggerate some cloth -- huge boots, flowing cloth under more structured pieces... I just finished this over the weekend as part of brushforge.com's first mentorship module. They had us design, model, and hand-painted texture a model over the course of two months, with tons of instruction and art direction provided by Kelvin Tan and Rob Sevilla. All in all it was a great experience, and I can't wait to…
