Quick WIP shot of my Sci-fi floor tileable done entirely in substance.. no external maps used either. :) Gutted the PBR shader doesn't have Emissive enabled for 3d view...
My first time learning PBR methods. It was a bit of a learning curve, but I think it'll be a lot easier than the old spec/gloss method from here on out. The model is 1146 tris.
A work in progress but been practicing PBR asset stuff. I was inspired by Alien Isolation's 3D assets, I wanted to create one of those old CRT monitors, still adding some details here and there.
Crosspost I've been brushing up on my substance designer knowledge and practicing some more interesting shapes and layouts, more shots over at my artstation! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/pbr-procedural-hard-surface
Put a couple of my older models onto Sketchfab to try out the new PBR capabilities. [sketchfab]4941f615c0a44e19b8c984f43d7db21d[/sketchfab] RPG-7 by danhorsfall on Sketchfab [sketchfab]07ce3ea0ae91459ba6e9c6b0422a39bf[/sketchfab] Remington 870 Tactical by danhorsfall on Sketchfab
calling this pretty much done. If anyone has some tips to push it further it would be appreciated :) Not done much PBR before this...Was a good learning process to get myself into Substance... started some wood planks now :)
Experimenting with ways to create a more stylized PBR in painter for the polycount tower, i like the results so far , going to push it more on the next object. http://polycount.com/discussion/152210/tower-japanese-arcade-shadowplay#latest
Warhammer Shield of old, I feel like I'm gonna be on a Warhammer art binge for a while :p Under 2k tris, PBR texture, WIP. Way too much amazing art in this thread, this year everyones on fire!
Practicing with PBR and wanted to model a Boba Fett Helmet :P Feel free to let me know what you think here: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=149318 Model below is displayed in Unreal 4.6
Made a PBR pirate pedestal, real time, rendered in Unreal. 100% out of my comfort zone, but it was fun to try something different. Alternatively, you can check it out in 3D over here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1LDLG
