More work on learning Substance Designer. Here's the second material I've worked on, a cracking/peeling wall. Impressed by how with enough thought, SD can really pull off a lot of different forms completely procedurally.
My new Huion H610 Pro Graphics tablet arrived and so I just had to start working at handpainted textures again : rendered in Substance Designer, painted in Photoshop - click the image to see the texture maps
Haven't posted in awhile been busy but here is a personal project I am working on. This was all textured in Substance Painter and punt into Unreal Engine. Still need some detail work and decals along with some lighting and post process to finish.
Still working on my Titan. Here is the thread incase ya'll wanna see more wip shots. http://forum.allegorithmic.com/index.php/topic,1497.15.html All textures done in substance so far, minus the mask which i snuck into 3d coat.
KMiklas: this Punto looks really good! : ) Pior: Nice, as usual! Here is a buste in SciFi style I worked on lately. Textures done with Substance Designer, rendered in Toolbag 2. Full/high resolution link: https://gaetanlassagne.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/gaetanlassagne_scifibuste02.jpg
Old tree. Polycount: 3300 tri (+ tesselation) Tex: 2048 px. PBR. Tools: ZBrush, Substance Painter, Blender, Photoshop I'm going to do also a second version of texturing: 100%. Then blending between them in UE4, set per instance. Pure albedo, unlit:
Nice hand painted metal! Are you using PBR or standard Spec map? Been wanting to do some experiments with hand painted PBR metals. Working on seeing what I can create fully procedural. No sculpt or hand painting. All with substance Designer. And my attempt at cloth.
my current guyver marmoset shot,, currently baking the arm and leg texture for lowpoly version. will show some updates once i assemble the rest of the baked texture in substance designer :D you can see some more of my previous progress here http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=128025&highlight=guyver
This is what i've been working for the past few months (on/off). My first personal project! (which is finished!) Modelling in 3ds Max. Texturing/Baking done in Substance Designer I'm trying some new "branding" for my portfolio (which is desperate need of an overhaul lol) too C&C welcome I documented this on my blog too!
Re-made this Mass Effect gun. I managed to get the bake done without painting any errors out this time around and completely re-painted it with Substance Painter (Which is amazing software by the way). @Wester: Did I see that over on Lunchcrunch? Either way nice work ... I'd like to see that little space buggy! :)
