Redid the sculpts for the rocks, better tall grass and colors overall, added a log, general polish on stuff, lighting changes, still need to address that placeholder texture for the dead bush/roots though.
Made some major proportion changes on this guy today.Next is to re-sculpt the detail that was lost from all the shifting, then, move onto getting some crystals and rocks on the tail. Link below. :) Progress Thread
A final render I did for my character, Working on the hovercraft after a long hiatus- The rocks weren't modelled by me but a shader from marmoset toolbag 2 I used while messing around with it :D
That is neat! Is that edge weighting or standard SubD? I took a break from HS stuff today to check out David Lesperance's rock sculpting tutorial and finally played around with the Quixel Suite. Ended up with this:
Awesome this year too people ! I replaced my old giant far away trees with X-trees which allowed me to have a huge pine forest with almost n performance cost :D I also started to add rocks and foliage to close-camera parts. Figuring this out as I go. Using generated maps to create masks for snow and rock. Read up on fresnel in UDK, has a pretty interesting effect in Marmoset. Gonna plug it up in Mari later. Also Knald is the tits.
