Unfortunately we do not support particles of any sort at this time. If we do add particle support, it will like be sometime in the more distant future.
Toolbag 2 requires a DX10 or higher card, so your 8800 should be good. Please update your video card drivers to make sure you have the latest. Are you able to launch the problem or is the error preventing it from opening? Certain DX11 features like tessellation, will not work with DX10 cards.

Ok, so I just bought toolbag 2, I don't really know much about advanced rendering and shaders. Do I need to do anything different with albedo and roughness maps than you would do with diffuse and gloss maps to get best results? Any resources I should look at?
