That axe turned out really nice Jeff. Did you just paint it in Photoshop or did you use another program as well? Nick Carver: Those are some interesting concept pieces! :D Keep up the good work everyone!
gamut masking sounds interesting, how do you employ the theory when painting digitally? do you set up a seperate canvas in photoshop and paint the pallette down that you want to use before you start painting the picture?
@Lorex - love the monkey girl! Retopo'd and baked my character - working through the textures now. It's not a super interesting concept, so I'm losing a little steam. Learning a lot though... 3d-coat viewport grab, (overly) sharpened in Photoshop...
My idea for what Robocop should have looked like for the reboot film. Painted with a Wacom Intuos3 using Adobe Photoshop CS5. Mostly hard round brush, soft airbrush, and 3 custom texture brushes with varying levels of opacity and flow.
crossposting from the lowpoly thread; MagLite ML100 flashlight. Created using modo and photoshop, rendered in Marmoset. It's the first model I actually finish. (or well, I'm having some trouble with the spec map but I think I got it sorted) 716polys
Hey guys, sorry again for the shameless crosspost from my thread I'm back with another little video to answer some question people were asking about my texturing process on the 3d model fan art of Ellie from the last of us. This is covering my photoshop pipeline, taking a look at my psd (photoshop) files, occlusion baking,…
I'm making a illustration for an art project with 151 brazilians artists recreating 151 pokemons. Had some problem with the polypainting, so i'm going to repaint everything inside photoshop or modo. EDIT: Don't know how to put the image on the post =\. And this is a staryu btw
You're right about those lines, we'll see what happens when I try to bake. The render method is done right inside max with default scan line and some simple mats. one skylight, one omni and some work in photoshop.
Deeuude. Awesome! :) --- Here are some characters I made for a school course. Always intended for them to be rendered from the front so details in the back weren't as important. There is a back story but it's not very important to know... Hope you like! 8) (ZBrush, Maya, Photoshop.)
lookin cool guedin, i'd be interested in hearing about marvelous designer too. i've been thinking about trying it out. great job jfletcher! here's a weird zsculpt of a guy getting his head twisted off. rendered in zbrush and then painted over in photoshop.
