Thanks a bunch guys. I just got it to bake in xnormal with an exploded mesh. I then tried it in max, and it bakes the exploded mesh fine. But if I turn the bake by material ID option, it breaks again... It seems somewhere along the line ALL of my material IDs got wiped. Not sure how. Perhaps when attaching meshes.… -

You have a lot of repeating geometry. Modular meshes would be your best option. To avoid texture seams: * you could make your texture tileable * you could create certain sections of the wall as a single continuous mesh * you will experience lightmap seams between modular meshes if they are a clean flat surface, so you'll… -

Translucency is a bit touchy in UDK, if the vertex geometry is close enough to one another then it can cause this kind of issue. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
