Another Texture Update. I plan to do couple more things to the face and fix some Specular Hightlight areas then call it done. Unless someone see some problems I could fix. PS. calibrated monitor here as well and these images are indeed too dark. the luminance seems to have been clamped. the brightest brights are at ~70% luminance. just open the 3rd image (since it has both lights and shadows) in PS and check histogram-luminosity. you will see that the highest value peaks at ~170 which is roughly…
The texture still has too much high frequency noise which is making it feel rough like stone. Maybe try a despeckle filter or something on your texture overlays. Also, the white edges on your corners (scratches I guess) look really game-arty and pretty fake. Are you using a specular map? PS I love your videos

Thanks cryrid, that was the issue. I thought all my maps were facing the right direction when I looked at the UV's in Zbrush and the map itself in PS. I know hes eyes where stretching it a tad, just seemed so dull w/o (did a PS "beaty" pass). Hes scar was suppose to be alot more dominant, tried different things, but it ended up looking bad imo. Know hes hat could use some more polys, but it didnt annoy my eye too much.
