The scale of things is not clear so it makes the moss look like bushes or other tall vegetation. You could add a cone or something to get a better sense of scale. Very interesting stuff, nonetheless, i am also looking into houdini. Could you go into more detail about the setup, specifically what drives the moss spawning? -

I think it would look cool if you made the glas part of the roof even bigger and maybe add some vegetation coming down through the windows. I could take some screenshots tomorrow at work possibly. The trees are made with Speedtree. You can make them in max/maya with similar results, but it takes much longer. There's a full version of Speedtree 5 with the UDK. You can only export straight to unreal, but its pretty solid for anybody that wants to take a shot at…
