This was probably asked before, but I couldn't find it. How would you model this in one piece? The grip points or whatever they are called are giving me a hard time.
You could start with a 32 sided cylinder. Or model it flat and bend it with a modifier. Last tips is to use a proxy mesh and skinwrap your object to the proxy mesh
Hello guys, I would like to ask how to model this mattress. I have tried to do a highpoly of it but it looks so bad... Is there a easier way of doing this ?
Floating is a good solution most of the time, but I thought this thread was for learning how to actually model more complex shapes, not tricks to get the normalmap looking correct.
There might be some guys that can make this is zbrush or mudbox. Like the dude that made Batman over at gameartisans for comicon. He used zbrush for his hardsurface modeling
