Hi guys ( and girls ), it's me again. As we want to do facial animation with our character, I had to adapt her mouth for that. i never did this before so I don't really know how to proceed, but after some attempts I made this : PS : sorry for the bad shading, need to learn how to use the BPR...
Wierd. Must be something wrong with my package. I tried both Mudbox and xnormal, both gave the same results. But yeah, Mudbox is not the best normal map baker out there. Going to reinstall windows today anyways (its a mess, and im getting some wierd problems in PS). Im going to report back when im done.
Made some attempts at high poly grass, which I haven't done before, but I think it looks ok so far. Any advice or feedback is welcome! And while I'm at it, does anyone know if it's possible to make a gradient material in Maya that doesn't depend on UVs? I want to make one to use in PS as texture base.
How do you deal with skewing then? I haven't figured that out yet with cages. Especially for the very fine detail it's a problem for me. Also when i use floating geometry the PS composition method works best for me personaly. But i'm really curious to learn about anything that saves me time and improves my workflow.
ya I can easily make it for you, once I get back home, away from home atm and am posting from a phone. should be pretty simple thing to make, I could even have it open the doc for you in ps for you too if wanted, or just have a file picker to choose a save location.
looks great dude, nice job. the metal looks great, it looks much better quality than a lot of the stuff i see in marmoset, makes me realise I need to experiment with it more because clearly you can get great looking materials with it. PS: just for the sake of curiousity, what did the previous lighting look like??
Aye that is one thing but I am looking more specific to crowds used in Forza and many other Racing games including mobile game Real Racing 3. PS brushes might help but chances are it ll look fake even from a mile. (the black n white brushes with silhouette of people and doing an overlay of some crowd photo).
i kinda hit a wall and my design became very slower(on the backside). but at least i think im pretty much done with the front part. a few more details and i think im good to go to shading Attachment not found. ps: i have no idea how to put my attachments as a proper image here o_O
EarthQuake - Yeah, I guess I'll just do the rest of the maps and see how it looks. I can paint out the problem areas if I really want to in PS. I just thought there would be an option somewhere in maya to fix this. dirigible - was pretty sure I knew what you meant, just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
The Stalin sculpt is fantastic comrade! Do you have alot of experience with the other sculpting programs besides sculptris? I've only ever used Zbrush... Zbrush is powerful, but the interface and the workflow is really awkward at times... PS its clear you have a good understanding of anatomy and that you practice some type…
