Nevermind the art style, I wonder how many got away just for having the same distinctive typeface. S2Games did that pretty early in 2003 with Savage, and it did lead to a Warcraft-esque atmosphere. -

Wow it someone would tell me this is a piece out of the new World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria I'd believe it. Realy great stuff! And it that's WIP I'm hyped to see the final version. :D -

Dawn of War has more than that, I believe it depends on what you're going for. Do you want something like TA or Supreme Commander? Are you going for Commandos? Warcraft? C&C? -

At the risk of sounding totally casual : Games where I can explore interesting areas. If I can do it while feeling really powerful then even better. Horizon Zero Dawn comes to mind. Skyrim, World of Warcraft, Red Dead Redemption, etc. -

If I were you I'd do as you posted in your first post and hand paint it. You model really screams for it in my opinion. You can probably find alot of inspiration from the skeletons in Diablo 3 or World of Warcraft if you need it ^^ -

If we were going to do a lava themed map we should use the standard maps floor as it just doesn't really fit. We would have to redesign it and a great example of the would have to be black rock mountain from hearthstone/world of Warcraft -

Kwramm, I actually added a bit about world of warcraft in my first post but deleted it. Wall of text and all that. I'm actually very surprised about the mistakes (and they aren't few) that can be found in wow since Blizzard = epic awesome gods of games. -
Naga
well, i was going to post this in the what are you working on thread but it said i couldn't post there for some reason. anyway, here is a naga based off the ones in warcraft 3. this is my first organic model that has gone anywhere good :P -

Worked on a warrior icon for a friends birthday to be 3D printed for a bracelet I ordered off amazon. Here's the sculpt. I'll post the pictures of the print in a bit! The design is from one of the World of warcraft art books
