Here's a portrait that I've been working on for the past month. Hair is temporary and there are adjustments to the sculpt and textures that I still need to make. Used texturingxyz displacement and photo sets for the textures.
Started Scott Eaton's Portraiture & Facial anatoy course. (http://www.scott-eaton.com/portraiture-facial-anatomy-online-course) A couple of weeks in, and really enjoying it, learning a ton, definitely recommended! Wanted to see if it improved my facial sculpting skill so far. So this started as a skull and took it a bit…
I'd further exaggerate the planes of the nose, for one. And rereview that you're accounting for all bony landmarks of the face: https://www.artistsnetwork.com/art-subjects/portrait-figure/how-to-draw-bodies-lea-colie-wight/)
Great work man! I especially like your portraits lately. Awesome work. I like the bold colors. I agree with the comments on the female. I think her ribcage is too wide.
Continuing my portraits studies. This time I've decided to make a finished piece. My main goals were: more refined anatomy (comparing to my previous works), more details, better rendering.
