I really like where this Terrorblade weapon is going, maybe you could try to accentuate the edges a bit more with pinch? that's just my opinion, either way looks badass
No that reads woman. We're just not collectively used to normal proportioned women as game artists a lot of times. The hips are about the width of the shoulders, and the waist pinches. It follows the guidelines, I think.
If I strain just right, I can maybe see something that could look like pinching in the shots you're showing. Are you seeing something different or just looking closely?
Assuming you are going for realism then his waste and mid abdomen is way to skinny. Males, especially muscular ones, do not have as much pinching in below the rib cage as females do.
On the skull you have a lot of pinching which is mostly due to the uneven poly distribution and shady topology. Also, i feel that the jaw area is really making the rest of it seem worse that it is.

You've got to take early IGN reviews with a pinch of salt, since they have some kind of agreement in place to publish before the embargo, which means it's not in their interests to give it a low score.
I dynameshed my figure and got some triangles and badly placed quads as seen on the picture. when i apply brush oon these areas i get ugly results and pinching. is there a way to locally fix this bad topology without retopologizing the whole model?
whenmaking normal maps in max 7 i get shity warped pinching in the maps which makes it look suck, i take the same thing using kaldera and in many fewer steps have pretty nice clean normal maps, why is the max one sucking?
There seems to be some problems with the normals. It looks like it has a lot of pinching and shading issues. It is a bit difficult to see from those screenshots. I'd try and add a very glossy material to see where those issues are and then start working on fixing those.
