I use max2012. So this color file is for 2012 http://www.edgesize.com/crap/MaxStartUI.clr I think after 2012 they started saving the color files as .clrx so I'm not sure it will work. :D

Hey I found the art sample texture sheets for the Predator tank and marine if you want to see them. The tank is actually split into 3 512 maps. the Marine with all upgrades is on 1 512.
Is possible to make a box-projected reflections? http://seblagarde.wordpress.com/2012/11/28/siggraph-2012-talk/ http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/113784-Has-any-one-experimented-with-Box-Projection-Correction-Environment-Mapping
Yeah no problem :D It was just for fun. I put a lot of bird droppings on the car, though it doesn't look like much through a 512 by 512 map. ha ha. Will post actual textures soon.
i tryed maya 2012 but tbh i prefer 3dsmax 2012 alot more just seems simpler for me anyway. hope it wont bite me in the rear that i prefer max in the future lol
Have you tried uninstalling 2012, restarting, and then installing a newer version? Sounds like your 2012 install has become corrupted somehow, usually deleting the settings files takes care of crashes on startup.
In Maya 2012 the offset option in the extrude behaves like this script (and how it always should have). I'll say thanks again for this script because I did get alot of use out of it before 2012.
I agree, I have made them slightly larger. UVs laid out, tested with a 1024 and a 512 and decided on 512. There is geometry to draw the sword, which I plan to do for final presentation pose.
