Also, chokepoints in the original ET were one of the best parts of the game. Fighting was so intense during standstills and it made victories so much sweeter. It was all about not giving up ground or gaining it back in order to fulfill objectives. Without this the game would not have been as interesting.
I think the real question here is 'who would win in a fight:a car or a gun'. It would be an epic battle of endurance and wits, but in the end I vote that the gun is destined for victory as the car's rubber hoses and gaskets would fail after a few years of quietly sitting on the field of battle.

Yeah I agree, it's kinda of a bitter sweet victory since so much is faked.. But I'm happy with the result none the less. This project also resulted in alot of experience in making this kind of models and how I should handle texture work in the future.

I cant speak for the admins, but historically polycount has been less focused on "contests" and more on "challenges." Things that promote community and growth as opposed to slaughter and victory over our own :) my 2cents :) besides, just make art, who needs contests! :)
Victory ! - The model ended up being around 40mb after export from marmoset. The FBX was about 75mb I just sent over the HTML and Scene File which loads in firefox just fine. Since its a locally load, it was like 5 seconds
