Thanks for the tip. Setting the transparency to None actually yielded better results and the grab viewport script works fine with my hair alpha. Simple also works, but doesn't look as good. Thanks Seeing as we are in the spirit of improvement ... I have a few suggestions on this script as well... Viewport Size ... can we…
I recently had to reformat my computer because of Windows Live Messanger Beta. My wife tried to send me a file via Shared Folders. I copied and then deleted the file and within minutes my computer blue screened. Messanger was set to start with my computer so every time I would restart it would blue screen again. I didn't…
Not necessarily. The catch here is that when looking at these devices (big Cintiqs, this MS panel, and so on) we assume that it is indeed possible to work comfortably at a distance similar to what is shown in this picture above. But the fact is, Wacom tech is order of magnitude less precise than a physical pencil - because…
I just installed my whole system on my new SSD and ran into this Issue. Fortunately there's a way to do it guys! You just need to make a Junction into your ZbrushData folder. Basically you take all your files/folders that you want to be elsewhere and you move them from your ZbrushData folder to the wanted location. Then…
@FreneticPonies @Kiyamlol Thanks guys! The lighting is in need of real reworking, I've noticed the images on my screen look brighter than when I view on others (I must have a crap screen) so Im going to have a look into what I can do to improve them ,other than just trial and error on multiple different screens. Thanks for…
Yeah it's just the basic game. Personally I've never played a Civ game before so I figured why not. Looks pretty cool though, I'll try to check it out after school/work. @Fuiosg Once you vote and click the e-mail it'll take you that "Oops you haven't voted screen" like you described. Wait between 6 - 24 hours then go back…
Really interesting Idea, but the problem would be that you always have to render the complete scene (without lodding?) for every frame and do a really heavy-weight pixel-calculation stuff. checking how many pixels on the screen have the same colour will impact your performance (your worst case would be cheking all pixels…
Last laptop I got was AN Asus c90s from GentechPC about a year ago due to many recommendations it got from various other laptop owners, but I've heard good things about Sagers and XoticPC as well. If I were to get a laptop today it'd be something with 4gb of ram, Core2 duo or quad at 2.4ghz or higher, a Geforce 9600m or…
Not sure to understand the play/pause problem ? Hulu is setup to simple see 'click on the video screen' as 'pause'. On my (single-touch) screen, if I tap there it brings the cursor under my finger AND clicks all at the same time. Simple! I agree about the potential confusion, but I dont think folks are that dumb ? As a…
LCD screens have fixed-resolution, so there's nothing you can do about that - the pixels on the screen are set up to work at the standard resolution (in your case 1280x1024) ... so if you switch to a different resolution, it has to blur the pixels to fit the new resolution into that. You could always measure the horizontal…
