been kind of avoiding the hands, I kinda messed up the edges between the fingers, there pinching like hell. Slight update on the trousers, would love some more crit :)
I'd probably just do a basemesh that closely matched the shape of the helmet? That way you don't have to worry about pinching spots from triangles or 5+ edge verts.
The replicator is so expensive it only seems good in a pinch situation, I'm excited for the zerg flying caster and the grappling hook spell, I had that idea for a unit at the beginning of sc2, I feel it will really help the swarm feel and breaking defenses.
I didn't use the inflate brush, just clay,flat, dam standart, move and pinch sometimes without any wood details alphas. And all the fine wood details on the final where added to the textures only (including normal map).
your getting his likeness down pretty well, only thing is watch the pinching on the side of the lips, also the brow line looks more defined in your ref image...nice job on the texture so far, keep em coming!
Cheers I think I got it working now. But now, dunno if its related to installing it, tools like pinch (i.e. anyones at the top) throw a maxscript exception warning, upon selection and deselection and max won't close naturally after that.
Hey Arsh, This is cool. But could you fix the link to that awsome head script creator? It's not working at the moment. and I would love to see how you get those crisp edges. Im guesing it's the pinch tool? Then a pass with the smooth tool?
Just had to do the wrinkles ,folds and cloth pinch in Zbrush using the outline from marvelous. Please C&C or advice ,so i can move forward with necessary changes
I would recommend tightening a lot of your edges during the retopo. There are a few pinched corners and soft panel line edges for a mechanical space ship. This is a good starting point though!
