You should show your handpainted texture, it's important. Love the shield, looks really good, you should create more objects in the same style :) Just keep going and add more stuff to your portfolio.

I see, thank you! So the quickpeel version would only be usable if i were to handpaint it in substance painter for instance. Do you think i've covered the possible/most suitable options of unwrapping in this case?
@zachagreg ; And what about normal maps' colour values? =o Anyway, this is weed_03, Aconitus..... And yes, it's 100% modeled, sculpted and handpainted by me....just for the sake of learning, I know there are faster ways to craft this kind of props.... ^.^
Nice work ! The render is really nice, love the handpainted style. Maybe add some orange/red near the flame ? At the moment the side of the stairs doesn't seem to benefit from the light source, but maybe it is just me :)
if you wanna get into handpainted texture i really suggest you to start with some tutorial that gives you the basics of the tecnique. I started with this one https://www.3dmotive.com/f101801 and i found it extremely valuable.
Update! Highpoly is done, yet I couldn't import my final Zbrushed one in max because of too high a polycount. I will most likely end up handpainting the normals to get a sharper results then. Yay!
diffuse and maybe spec. thats it. as i mentioned it earlier i want to improve my handpainting skills. and when i hear the word hand painting i think of games like diablo, wow, torchlight etc.
Hey, thanks! :) I'll keep that in mind and keep working on it, I'm going to sculpt it in Mudbox or maybe try zbrush (haven't learnt it yet) and I'm gonna attempt to handpaint the texture soon, so more feedback will be welcome :)
@MrPie: Thanks! Laundry Trolley, finished with it. 8460 tris, 1024 diff/spec/norm Back into the handpainted models for now, thar be a wolf to finish. Wanting to revisit the industrial laundry theme with some more assets soon.
