Great base, keep going with this. Would love to see hints of age vis a vis soot/stains. Scale's a little hard to pin down as well. Would be nice to see a hammer or smithing tools.
That's absolutely no guarantee Valve has updated it's development tool paradigms. For all we know, it'll be Hammer *yet again*, but with even more cluttered and obscure entity work for all the cool new effects.
Yo man! I very much admire how consistent your recent work is. And that 3d hammer is tiiiiight! What's your process on the heads? Are they starting out as sketches like the demon heads above?
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, my texturing has always been my weakest point. I hammered them out pretty quick, so I'll go back and tweak them some more :)
As long as you Normalize after you edit, it technically should be correct. But thats like chopping wood with a hammer when you have an entire array of axes available to you. There are easier ways to do it.
