First of all, this is looking great. What I really want to say is good for you for not giving up after losing all those days of work. I'd personally have a really hard time accepting that. Keep it going! PS you should drop a link in here to your submission page :)
That sounds like quitter to me look at me, i'm being horribly outclassed but i'm still going for it. Plus waiting is good for you, good things come to those who wait. Do the best you can Ps: Is it ok if I use Mirana's mount as a base mesh for my own?
Steam eh? I'm scared to try blender although there are a lot of people here who use it.. like gimp is an answer to photoshop. Nothing against gimp but I work so much better on ps. I guess I'll try to go blender first then maybe check steam. Thanks praetus.
Thanks Hoopla! Tried a new painting technique and it ended up with quite alot of polishing. Basically I only used a soft brush with a low flow setting. I was a bit worried that I would lose some depth but I think it's fine. PS. It would be nice with some critique on the angels!
I love that idea too. Yes please, let's do it! I managed to apply materials to my models and I was blown away by how good it looked in the Quixel preview but I'm not sure where to go from there to make it render like that outside of PS. Where do you go from there?
ah.. sorry.. I did't have any ideas at all. I know it may be hard work to do. but I will try.. ;) yiannisk, it seems right place for me to start.. thank you guys! PS. if you have any other information, advices or points, I will be glad to here :D
I just got an office chair for free, and it works fine for what I need. See if there's something like Freecycle where you live. http://www.freecycle.org/ Great way to get rid of useless junk, and get useful things from others, all free. PS I am not a bot!
Great texture man.I think you could optimize the polycount a bit(and also that sphere like part should have some collapsing and optimization). And use a shader for maya if you are learning maya haha :) .Oh and is that a glow in ps ? the countour thing from layer style ? i do not like :p
Except re-saving in .exr with Photoshop (with Nuke it doesn't work, even with the same parameter than PS) and re-import everything (File > Import Surface). We don't have any way to edit .json easily either, I hope you will re-add jpg/png compatibility for displacement.
If you go for the hard look, yes. I can't really recommend mice anymore since you waste too much time using the eraser or background colors to compensate for the precise hard look you need. Not to mention, many people still can't get Lazy-Nezumi to run in their PS.
