it looks better in movement with all the real time reflections on - ill post a vid soon. But your right i was basically trying to learn cry-engine and create a scene that matched the art of the hammer engine version :)
The smith's hand appears to be clipping through his hammer. And yeah, I'm pretty sure right now he's way too big to fit into that house. Other than that, this scene is coming together pretty well.
Pretty much finished with the highpoly of the falcon for this piece. Just hammering away will get the low poly with normals and AO up soon. Here is a render of the highpoly. Let me know if you have any crits.
Hi Tom, Thank you! That would in fact be a good idea, I was thinking of a replacement for the Pickaxe because that looked so mainstream. I was thinking about the kind of pickaxes where you have a hammer part.
Hey, I'm up for it.. Alternating between sketching and getting hammered sounds pretty fun.. As for your folio, it looks good, but dont be afraid to post and get some critiques on individual pieces. It really helps, methinks..
make sure it's a big hammer, and wear protective goggles :poly122: i threw a compaq off a second storey balcony to commemorate y2k and it did more damage to the ground than the case, so swing hard:poly127:
I keep a tall glass of water in some cheap plastic holder, right against the computer case, even if i were to knock it by accident it wouldn't spill anywhere...unless i used a sledge hammer.
I think its looking worse and worse, the first one was ok, texture wise except from the bricks that looked like Hammered Metal. fix your uvs, and fix the brick exture, thats all.
Well this is that start of my sketchbook it is a hammer as I hope you can tell, we will see how I do in the future feel free to comment. I use 3ds max and zbrush. We all need to start somewhere right.
Hey guys, working on some new fight cycles for a big dude with an equally big hammer. Also changed some lighting on an old shot. Any critiques/comments are welcome, thanks! [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlxfb76Dbu8[/ame]
