Hello good people! I am once again asking for your advice. Please be specific if you want to help. "Work on the cheeks" doesn't help me in this case because at this stage is all I can do. I am very bad at the eyebrow area, it takes me a lot of testing to get it right. I still don't know what I am doing in that area. Also…
http://www.vigville.com/tutorials/hair/ I wrote this a while ago. It covers using splines as hair growth objects (instead of a skull cap), then copy/convert them over to planes and render out the hair that was created between the splines. One thing I've changed up is how I go about laying down the splines. I paint them on…
Thanks for the help guys! @ Alberto - certainly. some cleaning up is definitely in order. and I'm glad you like it! @ Dan! - thanks man, I have a couple of different ideas for the final pose, but w/e i wind up doing, I agree, I'll have to keep it gnarly. :D @ JM Young - Yea I have plans to add in something for the skull…
EDIT: It would appear I may have posted this in the wrong channel. Sorry about that people, and admins. If possible, please move this thread to the correct channel (I don't think I can...) ORIGINAL: Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to the sculpting scene and I had a question about zBrush. So I'm sculpting this skull right…

Day 15: Time to get under some skin. 💀 Decided a skull would be a good thing to learn today. I used reference of an Asian female skull and while there were a lot of hard parts, I especially struggled with the mandible. This let me know I need to consider more about jaw structure overall and how they're formed and composed!
Edit: Submissions are closed, thanks everyone! There will be more giveaways in the future. Hello! I'm giving away one slot to my mentorship for free! =) So if you are interested in learning hardsurface modeling, this might be for you. Or maybe you know someone who might be interested, feel free to share. You will get the…
Looking very nice! We're really into nitpicking territory now. One thing i'd focus on is the Zygomatic arch, and how it leads into the forehead. At some point along the forehead a plane change happens, where the skull has a ridge, and then that part is covered in muscle. I've pointed out roughly where that plane is, and on…
Isn't this forum exists to express your thoughts freely without polishing and censuring yourself. I am pretty tired of reading that overly polite, inexpressive and graphically blind language Ai is typically promoting . It's sleepy and dull after all. Well , until you specifically ask otherwise but nobody do usually . Whats…
You concentrate too much on little things. 50% of the likeness is proportions and the next 25 is big shapes. If you nail them, the start of the likeness will be there, even if there are no details at all. Start by analyzing proportions and sculpting out all bones of the face so you could place them correctly. You need to…
