So here you have it, all the images from the 'How u model dem shapes?' thread easily viewable in one spot. Due to the nature of the script I used, some images may or may not be present in an attempt to reduce the amount of junk images, however the majority of them are. I've gone and arranged things easily so you guys can…
You're not likely to find an easy way of overcoming that using select color range. I'd advise you to use the magic wand - and increase the tolerance quite a bit - perhaps 100-200, that will allow you to select the blended pixels.

That's sweet. I always wanted to make the maxx ...I have half a base mesh from 2000. Didnt get too far. I would propose proportional changes but you're probably not interested at this point. (200% bigger hands and teeth)
674 triangles is quite a lot, actually. I would try to bring it at least below 200. Here's a model I made a couple of years ago, which feels sort of the same as yours. It only uses 100 triangles and a 32² texture.
Remember: If its not absolutely surely 100% the same piece in real life, don't model it like that. Use 200 seperate pieces for your highpoly if you feel like it, whatever makes life easier and keeps the head aches away!
Hey man! that works great!! Couldn't figure that out by myself, thanks! What about scale then? :3 It appears that the display value on the spinner: 1, 2, 3 corresponded into 100%, 200%, 300% value on the standard tti box..hmmmm..
Class 13 is a custom format we have here at work. The new snippet you sent works a treat! Thank you very much for helping me out man, sorry to pull you from your LoL game :P Here's the final script in case anyone wants to use it (you will have to change the exporter plugin class) To see the list of classes you have type…
Give me some minutes and i will post a example ;) Edit: Here it goes: First thing to do is unwrap your mesh in a way that you can easily lay out your planks. Then use slideknit on your basemesh with a UV Scale value, so that it´s almost the same size(the resulting mesh will not be the same size, so play around with the…
