Hey guys, Substance Designer seams to be lagging without any nodes in the graph. This lag goes away when I restart SD but comes back after a while.. any ideas? I've tried adding an exception to the Allegorithmic folder in my anti-virus but still no luck :( System Specs: GTX 1060 6GB i7 6800k 32gb RAM Thanks in advance!
Hi, The installation procedure changed. Here is some sort of troubleshooting guide. Any of these (in any order) might solve the issue. But if you want a bullet-proof run, maybe execute all of these : 1. Re-install Crease+ by dropping the CreasePlus_install.py in the viewport and restarting maya 2. After 1. Run this…
Hello guys I was wondering how to make a complex shader. I hopended a scene from unreal market place but is a bit difficult understand each node. Thank you at all ;)
In substance designer, when you hover over a an expanded node, I'm used to seeing a label that tells me what each input and output correlate to. At the moment, it's not showing me that. I'm assuming I hit something that disabled the previewer but would love to know what stroke that is that retoggles the feature.
http://www.filterforge.com/ I saw this post on Unreal developers Network. It would be very useful for Artists looking for a node based texture plugin for making complex textures. It's still in beta, but has a ton of potential!
thanks okidoki Unfortunately they doesn't mention any issues I have. I found a few workaround on my own although. Support is still totally silent for some uncertain reason. Octane is still a champion when you need to tweak and render complex bioms using its cool GPU based scatter on surface nodes put in groups . If you…
You can add an output node by pressing "space" on your keyboard and then selecting "Output" in the bottom of the menu. Then in the properties of the node you can add a new usage as "height".
Thanks for taking to time. how would I create a node with outputs from a rock generator i created. Im trying to fallow a Daniel Thiger video and am stumped how he did it. Hope I/it makes sense.
I'm playing around in Alchemist. I have some materials stacked and blending, and I'd like to rotate the topmost layer. Is there a way to link the transform node to the topmost layer so it doesn't globally rotate the whole material?
