Hello, I am new to the forum and would like to present a model not finished yet. I would appreciate any comments from you. I've never done a school of 3d, so I just learned with practice and with my mistakes :) PS: sorry for my bad english Basemesh creating with ztool Final basemesh Time to retopologize for low poly model
OK... here we go. when you throw a biped over your mesh, can you not move the thing around at all? i mean, i make a skeleton...and then right after i make it, i can't move the pelvis into position....figure mode or not. i can't move the sucker. is that normal ps. i'm new to rigging.
hey guys finished up one of my characters, and wanted to see what i can improve next time, or improve now ( still doing some post rendering, such as the sword) with some feedback zbrush/keshot/ps if you guys want to see more pics/closeup, let me know much love
I'm with SHEPEIRO and Ged on this one Op= did you even try? This, no shit, took me less than 5 minutes: and though it's hardly a pro paintover it's good enough that you can play around in PS with colours etc.
If that happens to not be the problem try downloading the latest update for your version of Max. Max 2012 shipped with a bug that broke the skin modifier. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=9241178
I've tested it and in 2014 it doesn't work! :( (right image is from 3do/ddo model viewer in PS) edit:same in 2015, even worse :/ how did you check it guys?? It's not working and I almost can't work! :( <wtf autodesk?>
tbh this looks way too complicated for the result, i would suggest using flow map painter instead or even the old PS method seems a bit more straightforward even though it won't create very accurate results.
Two more pieces out of my garden. Got a laptop and sat a bit around. Don't really get into PS at the moment, I hate those brushes, they are so facefisting artificial and they feel like that. And not feeling good and painting ... not good.
awesome :) like this a lot. He does look a little bit clean tho, I'm sure he gathered all those trophies through battle, therefore he and the items could use some damage :) ps. He be scary :)
Great breakdowns @s1dK ! We are, by total coincidence, going with this concept over on the monthly challenge. You should definitely cross link your progress there, if you want - these results are looking stellar! (PS love the zbrush workflow for complex pieces! :) )
