now, now sundance no need to insult another series in a thread about a series that has strayed so far from the creator's vision its not even funny. "If I won't hear it on the bridge of the battleship Iowa, I won't believe it on the bridge of the starship Enterprise." - Gene Roddenberry circa 1966
Texturing series of several Environment assets for my latest (still wip) project "The Dock". All textured in MARI, modeled in Maya (its all low poly), Normals done in ndo2. Crate (part 1): Platform (part 2): Bridge (part 3): Dock+Bridge animation (The Dock part 4) Hope you guys like it, comments/feedback are most welcome!
I tried stabilizing it like you said. I am waiting to see what the new result will be. For the bridge the stones came with UDK. The rest of the GEO for the bridge and about 90% the level as a whole all came from this one texture: and this group of 11 models I made by extruding and breaking up the texture:
That's how I felt from the trial too. I freakin' hate when I accidentally hit 'Browse' instead of 'Open' in PS and Bridge decides to open. Bridge is a slow monster... Anyway, thanks for the replies everyone. Looks like Photoshop will work best for me. Sony's software that comes with the camera is a joke!
i biked that very bridge last week with a group of indie developers before gdc. we rented bikes from blazing saddles and rode over the golden gate bridge to a ferry. it was really awesome! the up-hill parts killed me, i don't know how you guys enjoy that stuff!
Just let him burn bridges and don't report it, if he applies and employers realize he steal work or gets hired and realize he sucks major he will burn a lot of bridges. Just let him do some personal damage or he'll never stop.
Yeah i looked more into it and its certainly not practical, i was just hoping to kill two birds with one stone. I was going to ask what a bridge camera was but i used google, sounds like the name suggests, just a camera between a DSLR and a generic digital camera, sounds like a plan, bridge it is!
Only thing i can think of is to ask the : Mesh-machine Creator about the situation and perhaps they could provide the solution or at least bring it to their attention about this situation. Assuming its a blender issue? lot of people talking bout the "editors of blender having too many hats", "in competition", what needs…
josh.0 your arch is looking good, although the concept art has some perspective problems that might have affected the proportions of the bridge. bridge arches usually have a wider span between pillars, your arch is looking more like a doorway, than a bridge. [ Images Deleted due to photobuckets greed. ] as for the…
If the neck and the body both have open edges around the area where they would connect, then you could use the Curve Bridge brush to automatically connect them. Or just export both the body and head so that you can manually bridge them. You'll likely want to do this before putting too much detail into the head.
