Currently, my status is implementing some modular assets for the environment (walls, doors, pillars, windows, staircase) and blocking out assets w/o textures to get a better understanding of the overall
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/LY1zA i know it's really mundane but ive been rly proud of the modular rock mesh i made since i learned so much doing it
I was commissioned to make this modular dungeon kit for a game project - it's pretty barebones and generic but these little sets are fun to make. The presentation scene was rendered in Marmoset. Better res pics on Artstation.
love this! very nicely done, i love the atmosphere and colors and the style is very nice. Are the large floating rock islands made of several modular rocks or are they each individually modeled/textured?
can't take full credit i'm afraid. had the idea it would be possible then got the details from this tutorial: http://www.chrisalbeluhn.com/UDK_Asset_Position_Offsets_Texturet_Tutorial.html works pretty well for modular pieces though
A modular piece I'm working on as part of an informal challenge. I've just hacked together the modules into a quick maya arrangement, but I'll be putting it all in UDK and arranging it there when I'm done.
Im having problems with the wall pillar. I want to use the same wall modular piece around it, but the edge on on top breaks apart. What method can I do to fix this?
Great look here so far! Keep thinking about how to break these buildings up into a modular set for more structure possibilities. Can't wait to see some textures in here
Spell check!!! The Boneyard: It took my 8 weeks, and was built in a modular setup. Make sure to run over those things a few times. Your work is solid, inspiration for me!
house, built with some modular assets, wood blocks, cloth thing, planning on deleting uneeded faces once i finish up the design, trying to make something that looks unique
