Decided to go with a little bit different version than the original. So, here's the final polypainted high poly. The hat is a bit too saturated, so I'll desaturate it in PS later. Now it's time for retopology, UVs and baking then. (;
This is incredibly helpful, poop! Especially the part about using overlays in ps to create the smaller details. Really handy for those of us who don't have zbrush or just plain suck at hi-poly. (I qualify as both )
Great work! Fantastic detailing. If anything I agree that the armor design creates the illusion of an elongated torso. If you only had 2 plates in the front I think it would fix it. PS Great portfolio and welcome to Polycount!
That and there's always a bit of random+taste involved in competitions where entries are pretty close to eachother. congratulations to you people btw, you're becoming the artist worlds version of notch! (ps, use the cash to fund new indie games!)

Thanks a lot Ben. I read about this too but have never tried. As I am very new to this how do you combine them afterwords in PS? As i imagine it there will be some overlapping on the edge. Thanks a lot
That is something I'm working on. I used the PS script from Simple Viewer. It turns the whole page into a swf and I haven't gotten the nav inserted yet as I can't figure out how to modify the generated gallery.
Raider - Nice work, your high poly looks very clean. But your bake have some errors, try to change topology in problem parts and rebake after. Its will be a lot better then fixing in PS. Keep going!
