Hm, it'd help if you could expand the UVs a bit to compensate for mipmapping, a nasty, black seam appears in her face ATM. I had to alter the proportions a bit to make her fit on the skeleton, the fingers cannot be animated because the hand is too large and I don't think I'm allowed to downscale that. Not that animated… -

If your video ram runs out you'll see severe framerate drops. Like from 50+FPS to 3. If that happens, you need to decrease texture and screen resolutions. In my experience that's the first barrier you'll hit with a graphics card. Oh and that Shuttle has an onboard graphics card. That means 3d performance worse than a… -

Ok, so it seems like the reason to use powers of 2 is so that they can be easily combined with one another? This is understandable, but i'm confused as how to size things that don't have XYZ dimensions that are the ratio of say, 2:1:4 or something like that. Like if the concept calls for say, a doorway that is 200 units…
