In the "advanced" panel you have to klick on the "pick" button next to the texture projection. Then click on the texture projection you want to use from the objects clusters. PS: nice to see another XSI user here :)

Lately I have been working with Mudbox, World Machine and PS to create some cooler looking Terrain for my scene, so far it is very much a work in progress but I really like the workflow.
I asked my friends (game developers) about game engines and i got result: 0% of Developers use Unity :) PS. By the way according to online poll - 100% of people use internet :D

Not many people choose to finger paint, don't know why people would choose to do so in PS. :P Looks interesting though, looks like it'd have some pretty interesting uses.
for 2, save your normals as an rgba doc (tga does this,not sure what others do or what they want off you) and in ps's channels, put your grayscale spec (power) map and seperate in-engine.
