Hi Elithenia, i have posted the quesiton on the Unreal forums and there are some good tutorials on there. From looking around it looks like a case of having to go into 3DSMax and eporting from there. https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?59194-Nvidia-PhysX-for-Maya-2015-(Unreal-4-support)&highlight=PhysX%2C+APEX I…
I hope $590 is not a final commercial price. It's a bit too expensive, especially for indie devs and freelancers, a cheaper commercial license for a single person would be awesome.
You never know, companies do some crazy things. Plus, historically whenever a company starts to feel like they're running the show / leading the charge they get stupid. It happened to Nintendo (see N64/cartridges), it happened to Sony(see PS3/$599), its bound to happen to MS.

You mentioned that Quad core is better than 6cores for this purpose. But Intel Quad is X97 motherboard chipset. Any other processor that could be just right for what I need, maximizing it's…
Here with another update. I've made some minor changes to the high poly and now created the low poly. Low Poly - 5960 Tris 3135 Polygons High Poly As always, feel free to leave feedback or comment on my progress.
Zbrush indeed, as for building the low before the high I realized when you said it that's probably why it's taking me so long to finish this piece. As for the sloppy look overall I could only get it to 6mil poly's on this comp, if I could get one more level (i tried - 24 mil poly's won't run) then they would probably be a…
OK, you get the happy fun fix. Open your .obj in a text editor, something like Notepad++ that shows line numbers. Jump to line 42612 and make sure all the numbers on that line are different values. If I see two numbers, like 599 and 599, just add or subtract a 1 so they're different. Resave your .obj and try to open it. I…
